196. Recovering from Bad Financial Investments
Apr 02, 2024
Right now I'm involved in a group taking legal action against farmers.
Or, rather, real estate investors that were supposed to be overseeing a farm but definitely aren't. 🤣
We invested $50,000 into the deal and it's gone more than sideways.
And, at the same time I've had *SEVERAL* conversations with high multi-six and multi-7 figure clients around their own financial mistakes over the past few years that they are now experiencing the consequences of.
What I find interesting about these conversations is how powerfully we are moving through these mistakes, even when very large sums of money are involved, and coming out the other side--
Happier.
Smarter.
More powerful.
There's a way to move through tough periods with grace and softness while still being strong and tough when needed.
All of these situations and conversations coming into my field at once gave me the opportunity to deepen in and contemplate on it, and today on the podcast I'm unpacking:
- the salacious details of my own bad financial investments.
- the exercise to walk through to ensure you never repeat patterns and mistakes in financial decisions.
- the crucial difference in processing mistakes that differentiates the people who powerfully recover from the people who end up getting stuck in long cycles of resentment and regret.
- how to recover quickly from bad financial investments and powerfully move yourself forward from them without "gaslighting yourself"
If there's an ounce of regret, resentment, or "stuckness" you feel about "investing again" on anything, you will leave this episode free and clear of that energetic density... and you'll have the strategic filters to use as you make powerful moves in Q2 and beyond.
